WALKING AND CYCLING IN THE TROSSACHS
START – Invergeldie car park, up Glen Lednock.

Great munro to do. Nice to have had walkers who overtook me and showed me the way!
START – Path on the South Loch Earn Road close to the Edinample Lodge (before the small bridge).

Lovely walk!
START on the A84. When travelling from Strathyre to Callander, look for signpost on the left just before a house with two pillars. Lay-by to park.

Very varied walk! 2 tricky spots to cross if you don’t want your feet wet. Steep start.
Well signposted.
START – Amulree Church (parking for a few cars).

Easy and enjoyable walk, mostly flat.
START – Lay-by on the right of the A84 roughly a couple of miles before Strathyre coming from Callander. Look out for house with 2 pillars, the start of the path (signposted) is next to it.

Great place! To do after a dry spell as some burn crossings can be tricky. Will carry on to Loch Earn next time.
START – Bochastle car park in Callander. Slightly longer to park here than at the Ben Ledi car park, but the ascent is more gradual, less of a steep start.

Quite a work-out! Worth it as the view at the top is fantastic!
START – Parking area for 3 cars in Ardtalnaig on the South Loch Tay Road between Killin and Kenmore. On the left just before Milton of Ardtalnaig (coming from Killin).

Beautiful scenery! Was aiming to go at least to the shooting bothy at Dunan (4 miles) but it was too hot today and too many clegs about. Will be back later in the year.
START – South Loch Tay Road in Killin. The start of the Rob Roy Way is around 1 mile from the Falls of Dochart. I parked on South Loch Tay Road on a track on the right just before the signpost to the Rob Roy Way. The minor road leading to the gate has been resurfaced since my last visit.

Beautiful track to walk on, so peaceful.
Could spot the Glen Tarken track not too far and, if I’m not mistaken, going straight from the pipeline could bring to Glen Lednock. To explore further!
START – Loch Turret free car park. Went to the end of track to check how to get to Ben Chonzie from there. A lot of people seem to do it that way and not from Glen Lednock. The way to ascend wasn’t clear and quite boggy (will do it from Glen Lednock).

Love that track along Loch Turret, the setting is superb. One day I will try to follow the path on the right after the head of the loch that leads to Auchnafree Hill (looked very steep).
See Part 1 here.

First munro! Great on a clear day. Quite a lot of stones to deal with…
