Drymen-Balloch (cycle)

START – The Square in Drymen.

Follow Croftamie.
A few steps down.
Long stretch on minor roads.
Left through Balloch Castle.
Balloch car park.
Balloch.

Very pleasant, well signposted cycle ride. Lovely finish in the grounds of the Balloch Castle.

Aberfoyle-Drymen (cycle)

9 miles

START – Riverside car park in Aberfoyle. Great (free) car park, plenty of space. The signpost below is on the left side of the car park going in.

Joining minor road to Gartmore.
Gartmore.
Going past Old Drymen Road car park.
Going past Garadhban car park.
Drymen.

Follow Old Drymen Road nearly all the way. Undulating minor road, very well signposted.

Drymen-Balmaha walk

4 miles (one way)

START – Free car park in Drymen (on the B858).

Great car park in Drymen.
Follow road on the right side of The Clachan Inn.
Old Gartmore Road.
Turn left at car park.
Garadhban car park.
Space for a few cars.
Follow signpost to Balmaha (straight on).
Glimpse of Loch Lomond.
Right here (main track).
Junction after barrier.
Took left at junction (Conic Hill is on the right).
Stopped at junction with B837.

Took the easy option at junction, walked down towards the B837 instead of going to Balmaha via Conic Hill. It started to rain, so I cut the walk short and retraced my steps. Will come again, nice track, well signposted.
