Glen Kendrum walk

First 3.5 miles (up to stream)

START – Edinchip Estate on the A84, between Lochearnhead and Balquhidder. Follow private road.
OTHER OPTION – Check for gate on the cycle path near Balquhidder Station.
(There are a few spaces to leave a car on the A84 close to Balquhidder Station.)

Impossible to cross the stream without having wet feet (on bike or on foot).
The path goes on, eventually joining the old railway line between Glen Dochart and Glen Ogle.
Not a strenuous walk, gradual up to the stream (steeper after that).

Station Road-Bracklinn Falls loop (walk)

4 miles approx.

START – Station Road car park in Callander.

ON a cycle path through town to start with, then on forest tracks.
GOOD option when the Bracklinn Falls and Callander Crags car parks are busy (can be in the summer).

Bochastle-Coilhannan Wood loop (walk)

4.5 miles

START – Bochastle car park (can be started from the Main Street in Callander or being done in the opposite direction).

EASY walk.

Callander-Loch Katrine (cycle path)

12 miles approx.

START – at the Meadows car park in Callander (look out for route 7 towards Invertrossachs/Aberfoyle).

SIGNPOSTS all the way.
BEST cycle ride off main road from Callander to Loch Katrine with an hybrid bike. For mountain bikers, The Great Trossachs Path is also an option (see separate posts).
EXCELLENT ride!

Glen Lednock circular walk

4.75 miles

START at the small car park on Monument Road (not far from the Deil’s Cauldron restaurant). Another option is to park at the School Road car park nearby (free).

VERY PLEASANT walk.
