Three Glens Route (walk)

16 miles

START – Balquhidder Station. Space for 3 cars opposite the Golden Larches Restaurant.
The Three Glens are Glen Kendrum, Gleann Dubh and Glen Dochart.

Lovely walk! For a more varied walk, it would be better to start from Glen Ogle car park, walk on the cycle track towards gate to Glen Kendrum (last picture), climb to Glen Kendrum, walk downhill towards Glen Dochart, then finish on flat surface (old railway line) to Glen Ogle. The way I did it, the last 3 hours are on flat surface. Loved the climb up to Glen Kendrum and the descent of Gleann Dubh into Glen Dochart.
Only saw sheep but I have been told by a fellow walker that you could have cows about.
You can also start this walk/mountain bike ride from Lochearnhead or Killin.
Great day!

Gleann Crotha (Balquhidder)

Around 4 miles

START – Track near Tulloch Farm in Balquhidder (30 minutes on foot from the Balquhidder Village Hall towards Monachyle Mhor). Parking spaces for 3 cars at start of the track.

Always uphill but path at the end towards the Stob a bit too boggy at present. Will come again in the summer.
Lovely views over Loch Voil.

Kirkton Glen (other viewpoint)

Very pleasant short loop.
